消防安全专员 Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position

• Functionally supervise and provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) guidance for fire loss prevention, fire protection and emergency response activities in existing facilities for AP.

• Develop loss prevention, fire protection and emergency response programs for all new facilities throughout AP. Train the fire protection personnel, plant security personnel and emergency response teams in these programs.

• SME support for design, installation and commissioning of all fire protection systems.

• Set up, develop and eva luate fire inspection programs for the maintenance of the fire equipment.

• Conduct periodic loss prevention and fire protection reviews of Company facilities to assure basic loss prevention and fire control standards and procedures are being followed.

• Review insurance carrier reports and work with plant and insurance carrier to resolve the recommendations within three years of issue.

• Participate in and provide fire engineering support for both new construction and renovation/expansion projects from inception to completion.

• Organize an Emergency Response Team for each plant trained to respond to specific plant hazards.

• Provide alternative cost effective solutions that fully protect the property and lives of Ford and its employees.

• Interface with plant management and AP senior leadership.

• Develop and implement fire protection strategies.

• International fire protection experience.

• eva luate new products related to fire protection, gas-fire equipment and life safety.

• Review literature and make recommendations for revision to Corporate Fire Standards to achieve cost savings.
